Getting Here
Calvary Chapel is located just a few miles south of the entrance to the Kennedy Space Center. If approaching from the south, please be aware that a new subdivision’s driveway is immediately before the church entrance. Please use caution if someone is leaving that subdivision so that they don’t misinterpret your right turn signal and pull out in front of you.
Let us know you’re coming.
Please take a moment to fill out our Visit Planner. This will help us make your visit as pleasant as possible.

Parking
Ample onsite parking is available throughout the church campus, with closest access and handicap parking in Lot A. Lot B is located just behind our 35 North Building and still provides easy access to the Main Sanctuary. Lot C is used for overflow parking.
Got Kids?
CCMI uses KidCheck for secure children’s check-in. If you are new to Calvary Chapel please consider filling out your family’s information in advance. It will help make the check-in process even easier.

FAQ’s
-
You should plan to arrive a few minutes before the posted service time to find parking and make your way into the main sanctuary in time to be seated as the five minute countdown video plays to mark the start of the service. If you have a child you would like to attend our Calvary Kids Ministry, it would be helpful to arrive 20 minutes before the service to check in and get your child settled in their room.
-
We have no dress code beyond simple modesty. You will find folks in the congregation wearing jeans and a t-shirt and others in dresses or suits.

Our children’s ministry for infants to sixth graders is called, “Calvary Kids.” Classes are available at all main services. Learn more. A nursing mom’s room is also provided. After service, young families often enjoy the playground in the courtyard area between the two main buildings. Several special events are planned throughout the year including Vacation Bible School, which usually happens the second full week of June.

The main sanctuary includes a balcony area. Overflow seating is provided in our fellowship hall behind a glass wall that gives a clear view to the platform. TV’s are also provided in this area for an even better view of the worship lyrics as well as the speaker.

Our Communion services are held on the First Sunday of the month at 10:25am in the main sanctuary and on the first Wednesday of each month when it is celebrated as part of our midweek service at 7pm. Children six years old through sixth grade sit with their parents for the Wednesday worship and Communion time before being dismissed to their classes.

Our worship music is a mix of contemporary songs, classic choruses and traditional hymns. (Ephesians 5:18-19, Colossians 3:16). The freedom to worship God, in the way in which the Bible instructs, is very important to us. We believe in the free expression of worship to God as long as we remain within the realm of biblical guidelines. These include: the use of musical instruments (Psalm 150:3-5); clapping (Psalm 47:1); lifting hands (Psalm 63:4, Psalm 134:2, 1 Timothy 2:8); standing (2 Chronicles 20:19); and spoken praise (Psalm 34:1-3, Acts 4:24).

Older children would do fine sitting in the main services for a week or two. Then we would encourage parents to place them in our kids ministry. We ask parents with younger children and infants to sit in our family seating area in the fellowship hall. Our basic philosophy of ministry is the word of God is so important that we want to do everything possible to give both young and old the best opportunity to receive it. We have invested heavily in children’s ministry where kids can be ministered to on their own level. We encourage parents to use this ministry once they are comfortable with CCMI. This is especially important when “adult” topics are being addressed in that day’s teaching in the sanctuary. Placing kids in children’s ministry has the added benefit of allowing adults to focus intently on God’s word. So, children at around eight years old would probably do fine for a week or two in the main sanctuary. Younger children would most likely find it very boring. We ask parents with younger children and infants to sit in our family seating area in the fellowship hall.
